Check out today the list of all super over matches played till date in IPL T20 history. There was no Super over match played in IPL 2008, IPL 2011, IPL 2012, IPL 2016, IPL 2018. Total of 4 super over matches was played in IPL 2020. Highest Score in IPL in Tie matches is 201 and that too made in IPL 2020 edition. Lowest IPL Score for Super Over match is 130 runs which was played in IPL 2013 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Total 14 times teams have played super over in IPL history to decide the winner of the match after the score of both the teams were tie i.e. same score after 20 overs. First Super over in IPL came in the second edition of IPL T20 on 23rd April 2009 in the match between KKR and Rajasthan Royals.

As of now, only in league matches we have seen super over. We are still waiting to watch a super over performance in IPL eliminator, qualifier or final matches. Let see if we can see more Super over in TATA IPL 2022.
