23rd April 2009, the 10th match of Indian Premier League was ended without any result and as a result of which, the first super over was played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Night Riders in Indian Premier League. At that time, Kolkata night Rider had power hitter players like Chris Gayle whereas Rajasthan Royal had Yusuf Pathan. Yusuf Pathan was in a good form at that time. Yousuf Pathan again hit a boundary in the fine leg on the next ball and made 18 runs from 4 balls. In this way, Rajasthan Royals won over Kolkata Knight Riders in the Super Over.

Yousuf Pathan was the man of the match at that match because he made 41 runs in the first innings. He also bowled very well and took 2 wickets and became the player of the match with his running form.
