Bowlers lead India to a comeback win in the series - The 2nd match of the India and West Indies took place in Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi. This match was an important match for team India as they were already down in the first one and wanted to look for a comeback in the series. The match started off with India winning the toss and deciding to bat first. The game started badly for the Indians as they lost Shikhar Dhawan in the 2nd over of the game. Ajinkya Rahane too didn’t contribute much as the team was restricted to 50-2. Ambati Raydu was able to score crucial 32 runs for the team as he was promoted up the order before out of form Virat Kohli. He lost his wicket in the 18th over of the game leaving his team at a score of 74/3. Later Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina had a match defining partnership as they together took India to a score of 179. It was at this point when Raina lost his wicket after scoring 62 runs. Virat Kohli score 62 runs and lost his wicket in the 41st over. Mahendra Singh Dhoni took charge to the West Indian bowlers in the final overs as he scored 51 runs to take his team to a total of 263 in 50 overs. Jerome Taylor took 3 wickets in the match

The West Indies got off to a flier as the opening pair gave them a solid start in the match. The opening pair gave the team a start of 64 runs. Darren Bravo scored 26 runs in the match and was the 1st one to fall in the first ball of the 14th over. Kieron Pollard too scored 40 runs which gave the team a good Launchpad in the match taking the team to a score of 136. Amit Mishra was successful in dismissing Pollard on the 29th over. Dwayne Smith continued his run as he scored 97 runs and lost his wicket in the 36th over leaving his team at 170/3. The death bowlers of India led by Mohammad Shami made all the difference in the math as they easily made a comeback in the match. They took 7 wickets in just 45 runs which saw team India winning the match. Mohammad Shami registered 4 wickets in the match and thus winning the man of the match award. With this win the series is now levelled at 1-1 with 3 more to go.
