The Rockets was founded by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2019 considering the 100 ball cricket tournament. The Hundred is another franchise in the shortest format of cricket where each participating squad gets 100 balls in an innings. In the last season of The Hundred, the team was listed in 3rd place.

Trent RocketsLewis Gregory, a right-hand all-rounder of the English team, will take command of the Trent Rockets. With the ball, Gregory has the capability to move the ball in both directions and he's most dangerous on the pitch with considerable movement. With the bat, Gregory can bat as high as six or seven in the order, thanks to his proclivity for occupying the crease and blasting powerful smashes freely.

Andy Flower, a former all-rounder of Zimbabwe, will take the responsibility of the coach for the Rockets. He is one of Zimbabwe's top batsmen of all time. Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Joe Root, Rashid Khan are the strength of the Rockets who have the ability to change the momentum of the game through their strategies. Situated in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is the home ground for the Rockets where they will play all their 4 home matches. The cricket ground is specially designed for the Test, ODI, and T20 matches, and it has the capacity of taking in 17,500 people. The ground was established in 1841 and its tenants are Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, England national cricket team, and Notts County FC.
