The Oval Invincibles are amongst the most known and dynamic teams in the Hundred cricket league, and they are all set to compete in the event this summer in 2022. The club, which represents the traditional English areas of Surrey and Kent, was founded by the ECB in 2019. In the 2021 edition of the competitive rivalry, it was one of the stronger teams, finishing fourth.

Oval Invincibles Home Ground

Because the Oval Invincibles will be playing their home games at  The Kia Oval, it's time to turn up the volume for Invincibles fans. The Kia Oval, which was founded in 1845 and is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, is located in Kennington, London. The stadium has a seating capacity of 27,000 individuals.

Oval Invincibles Match Schedule

Oval InvinciblesThe tournament will include a total of 8 league games, including four home games for the Invincibles on August 4, 11, 14, and 23, 2022. On 4 August 2022, the Oval Invincibles will play their inaugural match versus London Spirit at The Kia Oval in London. On August 31, 2022, the Invincibles will play the Manchester Originals at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester for the final time. Last time, the men's team finished fourth in the ranking table, but the women's team took first place. As a result, the Oval Invincibles will be hoping to win the championship this summer in 2022.

Oval Invincibles Record in The Hundred 2021

The Oval Invincibles participated in eight matches in The Hundred 2021, winning four times and losing three times, with one match ending in a tie. The Invincibles' best score was 172 for 3 against Birmingham Phoenix in Birmingham on 4 August 2021, but they were unable to preserve the match and lost by 6 wickets. On the other hand, the team's lowest total was 127 for 6 versus Northern Superchargers in Leeds on July 31, 2021.

Jason Roy became the Invincibles' leading run producer with 186 runs, the greatest of which was 56*. With 10 wickets, Tom Curran is the Invincibles highest wicket-taker in 2021. Colin Ingram, who scored an undefeated 81 runs in a match against Phoenix in Birmingham on August 4, 2021, holds the record for most runs in an innings. Sunil Narine has the highest bowling figures for the Invincibles, with three wickets and 11 runs against the Rockets at The Oval on August 8, 2021.

In regards to runs, Colin Ingram and Sam Billings hold the record for the best third-wicket partnership of 72 runs for Oval against Birmingham Phoenix on August 4, 2021.

Oval Invincibles Squad for The Hundred 2022

Under the direction of Sam Billings, the Oval Invincibles will participate in The Hundred. Sam Billings is an English wicketkeeper-batsman who has scored over 450 runs in T20I cricket. Tom Moody, a former South African all-rounder, will, on the other hand, will play the role of a head coach and put their effort by making tactics and guiding their squad.

Nathan Sowter, an Australian, was the only overseas player retained by the club. Jason Roy, Tom Curran, and Sam Curran are among the team's veteran players with the capacity to change the situation of the game at any time.
