The second ODI match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand is scheduled to be played on 12th November 2013 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium. The match will start sharp at 14:30 as per the local time. Even the last match was played at the same stadium with a lot of people pouring in to enjoy the match. The second match will be an important one as the winner of the first match will try to win this one too so that they are able to grab the ODI series without any problem. While the other team will try hard that they win this match and play the final match.

As it is a day and night match so the second half will surely be a difficult time for both the teams. The ball will not come on the bat easily and chasing a big score will be tricky. Hence the team winning the toss will first want to bat and set a good score which can create pressure on the other team.

New Zealand is a good team with experienced players who can change the game at any time. They have the ability to survive in the tough conditions and make sure that the team handles the pressure well. The senior players support the young players so that they are able to give their 100% in every match they play. In this series too, the team consists of a good combination with all rounders being the focus. The Sri Lankan pitches are slightly different and therefore the all rounders can play an important part in winning the match. On the other hand Sri Lanka has a great support of their fans who will surely want their team to win. Playing on the home ground is always a benefit and the players will definitely try to meet the expectations of the crowd.
