Made his first class debut during 2006 didn’t have such impact on that format but he scored a century and 3 half century in Auckland until 2012 season but in the next season he scored 3 centuries in 6 innings with a whirlwind of 269 off 252 balls against Wellington. These performances rewarded him the call up to the national side for the squad against South Africa. Munroe has contributed a lot in the T20 cricket but his start of the career was so bad with two ducks in first two games. Munro also bowls medium pace represented New Zeland in U19 world cup against Sri Lanka and continued the same performance in the Champions Trophy. His young mind needs a lot tuning and make him ready for the play the cricket consistently.
