The start of 2015 in the cricketing world is dedicated to the ODI format of cricket. It is this time in the world when the world cricket teams will be meeting to fight it out for the ultimate cricketing glory of World Cup. In the month of January the West Indies cricket team and the South African cricket team will be playing a 5 match ODI series and thus it will be a perfect to practise for the upcoming mega event. This series will also be the last one to be played in the West Indies long tour of South Africa. The teams will be looking to gel together before the upcoming tournament and hence the world will be watching the series in order to have an idea about the team which is going to be a part of the mega event in February.
The ODI series will be starting from 16th of January with the 1st match being played at the Kingsmead in Durban. Later both the teams will be moving to New Wanderers stadium in Johannesburg where the 2nd match will be played on 18th of January. The 3rd match of the series will be played on 21st January at the Buffalo Park in East London. The 4th match of the series will be played on 25th January in St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth and the match of the series will be played on 28th of January in the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
