Some of them are Rohit Sharma, David Miller, and Sudesh Wickramasekara who have already made the fastest hundred in T20I.

1. David Miller

David Miller is standing at the top position for making the fastest century in T20I. He made this feat in just 35 balls while playing against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in 2017. Bangladesh was on a tour of South Africa in 2017 for playing 2 T20I matches series. Both nations met each other for the 2nd T20 at Potchefstroom where South Africa got the chance to bat first and added 224 runs. For South Africa, David Miller at number 5 made an incredible effort and added the fastest century in T20I that helped them to reach 200+. In reply, Bangladesh could not handle the pressure of such a big target, and the entire squad was bowled out at 141 runs. Born on June 10, 1989, he made his T20 debut against West Indies at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on May 20, 2010, and since then he made 2218 runs for his team at a strike rate of 144.78. 

 

2. Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of India, is holding the 2nd position for creating a record of the fastest hundred in T20I. He achieved this feat in 35 balls while playing against Sri Lanka at Indore in 2017. Sri Lanka came to India to play a 3 T20 match series in 2017. When both the teams stood against each other in the 2nd T20I on 22 Dec, India added 260 runs on the scoreboard while batting first. Rohit Sharma who opened the innings played superbly and added 118 runs in 43 balls only which assisted them to reach a huge total. In reply, Sri Lanka could make only 172 runs and bowled out. Born on 30 April 1987, Rohit made his T20I debut against England in 2007 and since then he has made 3853 runs at a strike rate of 139.25.

 

3. Sudesh Wickramasekara

Sudesh Wickramasekara, a Czech Republic batter, has registered himself at the number 3 position in the list of making the fastest century in T20I. He achieved this feat in 35 balls while playing against Turkey at Ilfov County in 2019. In the event of the Continental Cup, the Czech Republic and Turkey faced each other in the 6th match where Czech added 278 runs while batting first. For the Czech, Sudesh Wickramasekara played superbly and added one of the fastest centuries in T20I that helped them to reach that total. In reply, Turkey was bowled out at 21 runs only. Born on July 21, 1982, Sudesh Wickramasekara made his T20 debut against Gibraltar at Marsa Sports Club, on May 11, 2022, and he played his last T20 for Bulgaria at Tikkurila Cricket Ground on Jul 31, 2022. Overall, he played 31 T20I and added 670 runs at a strike rate of 149.88. 

 

4. Sivakumar Periyalwar

Sivakumar Periyalwar, a batter of Romania, is standing in the 4th position for making the fastest century in T20I. He made this effort from just 39 balls while playing against Turkey at Ilfov County in 2019. In the 3rd match of the Continental Cup, Romania got the chance to bat first against Turkey and added 226 runs on the scoreboard. For Romania, Periyalwar came at the number 5 position and added an unbeaten 105 runs from 40 balls that helped them to reach 226. In reply, Turkey could make only 53 runs and lost the match by 173 runs. Sivakumar made his T20I debut against Austria at Ilfov County on August 29, 2019, and he played his last T20I against Sweden at Vantaa on July 19, 2022. He has appeared in 21 T20I and added 431 runs at a strike rate of 112.23. 

 

5. Zeeshan Kukikhel

Zeeshan Kukikhel, a batter of Hungry, is standing at the number 5th position for hitting the fastest hundred in T20I. He created this record in just 39 balls while playing against Austria at Lower Austria in 2022. Hungry went to Austria for playing 3 T20I series in 2022 where both the nations faced each other for the 3rd T20I at Lower Austria on June 05, 2022, Austria got the chance to add a total on the scoreboard first and they put 196 runs. In reply, Hungry started well as one of their openers Zeeshan Kukikhel struck 137 runs from just 49 balls that helped them to achieve the target in 19 overs. Zeeshan Kukikhel made his T20I debut against Czech Rep. at Ilfov County on September 02, 2021, and since then he made 498 runs with 1 century and 3 fifties at a strike rate of 175.97.
