1. Tillakaratne Dilshan

Tillakaratne Dilshan holds the number 1 position for making the fastest 100 in a T20 international for Sri Lanka. He achieved this feat in 55 balls while playing against Australia at Pallekele in 2011. During Australia’s visit to Sri Lanka for the T20 series, it was the first T20 when Dilshan added unbeaten 104 runs in 57 balls which helped them to achieve the winning total of 198 runs on the scoreboard. 

 

2. Mahela Jayawardene

Mahela Jayawardene comes in 2nd place for achieving the fastest century in a T20 international for Sri Lanka. He added this feat in 63 balls while performing against Zimbabwe at Providence in 2010. During the ICC World Twenty20 2010, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe faced each other for the 7th match of group B. Sri Lanka got the chance to bat first where Jayawardene played an outstanding match-winning innings of 100 runs from 64 balls.
