The second match of IPL 2008 between the Kings XI Punjab and the Chennai Super Kings team was played on 19th of April 2008. This match was played at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium at Mohali in Chandigarh and was a Day / Night Match. It had started at 17:00 hours in the evening. The toss for this match was won by CSK and they had chosen to bat in the first innings. The batting line up of Chennai Super Kings was opened with Parthiv Patel and Matthew Hayden. The fighting flow of both the batsmen was seen with quick runs starting to come in.
