The 22nd match of IPL 2020 was played between SRH and KXIP. Though both teams have done well in this season, the team SRH has attracted the attention of viewers by their amazing performance. It was played at Dubai International Stadium on 8th October. David Warner, Captain of SRH, had won the toss and chose to bat first. 

From Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow started the inning. Both players are in form which they displayed by amazing shots across the ground. Warner and Bairstow both completed their half-centuries and offered an exciting start. Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their first in their 16th over when Warner got out at the score of 52 runs. Soon Bairstow also lost his wicket at the personal score of 97. In the last five overs, the middle order of SRH collapsed, and they could reach the score of 201/6 at the end of 20 overs. From Kings XI Punjab Ravi Bishnoi got the highest wickets. He got 3 wickets in his spell of 3 overs giving 29 runs. SRH set a target of 202 runs for KXIP to win the match.

From Kings XI Punjab, Mayank Agarwal and Lokesh Rahul started the inning. Though both of these batsmen are known for their shots and performance once again, they failed to give a good start to the team as Mayank Agarwal got run out in the second over only. Prabhsimran Singh joined Rahul, but at an individual score of 11 runs, he also got out, and hence the score of the team was 31/2 in the 5th over only. In the 7th over Rahul also got out. Nicholas Pooran played a good inning of 77 runs, but no other batsmen could stand for long on the crease. The KXIP middle order collapsed badly, and the whole team was in the pavilion in the 17th over only.

SRH won the match by a huge margin of 69 runs as KXIP team got all out at 132 only. From SRH Rashid Khan took the highest wicket. He got 3 wickets in his spell of 4 overs giving 12 runs only. Jonny Bairstow was declared as the player of the match for his amazing inning of 97 runs in 55 balls only. Hence with this win, SRH got two more points and better ranking on the points table while KXIP is left to think where they are going wrong and how to improve the game.
