The 25th match of IPL 2020 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Dubai International Stadium on 10th October. It was more of a match between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, two legendary players of the Indian Cricket Team. The toss was won by RCB captain Virat Kohli, and he decided to bat first.

To begin the inning of RCB openers Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch came to the ground. In the 3rd over only, Finch lost his wicket at a score of 2 runs, and hence the team score was 13/1. However, after losing the first wicket, captain Kohli came to the pitch and managed a grand inning. He and Padikkal played some wonderful shots, before losing the wicket of Padikkal at the score of 66 in 11th over. After the loss of Padikkal, AB de Villiers came to join Kohli, but he got out without any score. Hence the score of RCB was 67/3 in 11th over. Washington Sundar also got out quickly, but on one end, Kohli kept playing well. Due to his captain inning of not out 90 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore could make 169 runs at a loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. From the CSK side, Shardul Thakur got most 2 wickets while Deepak Chahar and Sam Curran got 1-1 wickets. RCB set a target of 170 runs to CSK to win the match.

From the CSK side, the inning was started by Shane Watson and FAF du Plessis. Though both of these batsmen were looking in form, they could play long innings and got out early. In the 6th over only, the team score was 25/2. Bowlers from RCB bowled at an excellent length, which made CSK lose its wickets at regular intervals. From the CSK side, Ambati Rayudu and Narayan Jagadeesan played good innings of 42 and 33 runs, respectively. No other batsmen could make a good score, and hence at the end of 20 overs, CSK was restricted to 132 at a loss of 8 wickets. RCB won the match by 37 runs.
