Guyana Amazon Warriors

Guyana Amazon Warriors is a popular team and one of the six franchise cricket teams of the Caribbean Premier League created back in 2013 for the inaugural season of CPL. The team Guyana Amazon Warriors is the representative cricket team of Guyana in the CPL. Shoaib Malik captained the team in the previous season of CPL. The franchise has not announced the team captain for the 2021 CPL season till now. Guyana Amazon Warriors have no CPL title until now, but the team performed well in each season of CPL.

Guyana Amazon Warriors also holds the record of appearing in playoffs in each season of the tournament and holds the record of playing most CPL finals. From the very first CPL season of 2013, they have always given a hard time to their competitors. GAW has consistently maintained a dominant nature in CPL, but it is their bad luck that they never won any title. Hopefully, the 2020 CPL could be the season for Guyana Amazon Warriors to lift the CPL championship trophy.

At present, Johan Botha is the head coach of the team, and the captain is not announced by the team's franchise.
