Misbah-ul-Haq helps his team to finish the tournament on a high - The 5th match of the qualifying round was a mere formality as it was a match between two teams that were already knocked out of the tournament. The Faisalabad Wolves and the Kandurata Maroons were playing this match only for pride. After winning the toss the Maroons decided to field first. The wolves go off to a bad start losing first 3 wickets in the first 6 overs of the game. While reaching to the 10th over of the game the team also lost its 4th wicket. Misbah-ul-Haq managed to control the downfall as he scored 93 runs in the innings. He was accompanied by Mohammad Salman as he scored 21 runs. The team managed to score 146 runs thanks to Misbah-ul-Haq as he scored at a strike rate of 155. In his innings he managed to hit 11 boundaries which included 5 sixes. Dilhara Lokuhettige managed to take 3 wickets in the match.

The Maroons needed a good batting partnership to win their last match of the tournament. It was an easy task as the pitch suited the batsmen. The Maroons lost their 1st wicket in the 2nd over of the game as Thilina Kandamby lost his wicket without opening his scorebook. Kumar Sangakkara and Upul Tharanga managed to take their team to 43 runs in 7.2 overs when Tharanga lost his wicket after scoring 25 runs. The Faisalabad Wolves managed to strike back soon as Lahiru Thirimane soon left in the 10th over. Chamara Silva joined Sangakkara and they together took the team to a score of 83 runs. Sangakkara lost his wicket in the 1st ball of the 15th over. He scored 44 runs in the match. Silva too lost his wicket in the 17th over leaving his team at 108/5. The bowlers of the Wolves managed to save the game easily as the Maroons were stopped by them to 136 runs. Ehsan Adil was the top bowler as he took 3 wickets in the game. With this the Wolves finished the tournament with a win. Misbah-ul-Haq was named as the man of the match for his splendid batting.
