IPL T20 2008 6th match was played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 21st April. Again a power packed 20 over day night match, the toss was contested in between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab teams. The kings Punjab team won the toss and they chose to bat first. Karan Goel and James Hopes were the openers of the batting line and they made a quick start and a good flow of runs with their strike rates of more than 100. 3 fours and 2 sixes from Goel and 2 fours from Hopes made the batting a entertaining experience. The thrill came down a bit when Goel was bold out by Munaf Patel at the 4.5 over. In followed Kumar Sangakkara who contributed another 20 runs in 8 balls. It was Yuvraj Singh who contributed 57 runs in 34 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. With the fall of 8 wickets, the scoreboard of Kings XI Punjab touched 166 runs at 8.3 per over.

The Rajasthan Royals had 168 runs to get the victory in this game. Openers Mohammad Kaif and Kamran Akmal fell down quickly. The next wicket of Yusuf Pathan was a super caught and bowled by Brett Lee. Score was low but all was not over. Shane Watson came in, stayed put and protected his wicket from the raging bowlers. He contributed 76 runs from 49 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes. With 12 extra runs from the KP bowlers and with fall of 4 wickets, Rajasthan Royals completed the target in 18.1 overs. 

Kings XI Punjab lost the match and the Rajasthan Royals bagged in 2 points. Shane Watson won the Man of the Match award for his great batting which turned the story upside down for both the teams - from lose to victory.
