The 3rd One Day International of the West Indies vs Sri Lanka 2021 series was played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua on 14 March 2021. Anderson Phillip did debut in ODI for West Indies in place of Romaria Shepherd in that match. The West Indies captain had won the toss and invited Sri Lanka to bat first. West Indies had already won their 2 matches in the series and they were looking for the clean sweep. Danushka Gunathilaka and Dimuth Karunaratne came out to the middle and Jason Holder got the responsibility of the new ball to open the attack.

Sri Lanka got a convenient start and had made 50 runs at the end of the first mandatory Powerplay. Both the openers played well and built up the opening partnership of 68 runs. Indies was looking for a breakthrough and the job was done by Alzarri Joseph in 13.4 overs. Alzarri Joseph sent back Danushka Gunathilaka at the score of 68 runs and Dimuth Karunaratne was also dismissed by Jason Mohammed in the next over. Both the openers had returned to the pavilion and two new batsmen, Pathum Nissanka and Dinesh Chandimal were on the crease. They tried to handle the situation but could not stay longer on the crease and were sent back by WI bowlers at the score of 116 runs. Thus, Sri Lanka at 116-4 came under pressure, and then Ashen Bandara at the number 6 position, and PWH de Silva played an incredible inning of 55 runs and 80 runs and built up the 6th wicket partnership of 124 runs. PWH de Silva completed his 1st ODI fifty from 48 balls and also struck his highest runs in that match. Ashen Bandara made his 2nd ODI fifty from 72 balls. The unbeaten innings of both the players helped Sri Lanka to reach a total of 274 runs at the end of the 50 overs. Hosein looked well with the ball and took 3 wickets for West Indies. The WI needed 274 runs to win the 3rd ODI of the 3-match ODI series between WI and SL.

Evin Lewis and Shai Hope were sent on the crease to chase the target and Suranga Lakmal got the new ball in hand to open the attack. West Indies top order struggled and lost 2 quick wickets of Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed at the score of 39 runs only in 9.3 overs. West Indies did not get a good start and had made 40 runs at the end of the first Powerplay. Afterward, Darren Bravo and Shai Hope handled the situation very well and had built a crucial partnership of 109 runs for his team. Darren Bravo made 102 runs from 132 balls and that was his 4th ODI 100s that helped the Indies squad to achieve the target. Shai Hope and Kieron Pollard also supported well in the victory and made 64 and 53 runs.

West Indies won the 3rd ODI of the WI vs SL 2021 series by 5 wickets and Darren Bravo was named Man of the Match. Hope was awarded the Man of the Series as he was the highest scorer. Thus, West Indies won the title of 3 ODI matches WI vs SL series by 3-0 under the guidance of West Indies coach Phil Simmons. Jason Mohammed was the most wicket-takers with 6 wickets in the series.
