The 3rd T20I match of the West Indies vs Sri Lanka series 2021 was played at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua on 7 March 2021. The visitor team did not make any change in their playing XI and the host team included all-rounder Rovman Powell in place of pacer Fidel Edwards. SL won the toss and decided to have the bat in hand first. Gunathilaka and Pathum Nissanka came out to the middle and Fabian Allen got the new ball in hand to open the attack.

Sri Lankan openers failed to give a good start and its top order was demolished by the WI bowlers. Sri Lanka had lost 3 wickets at the small score of 27 runs only at the end of the mandatory Powerplay. Dinesh Chandimal at the number 4 position handled the situation and Ashen Bandara also supported him. Chandimal contributed 54 runs for his team and completed its 5th T20I fifty in that match. Ashen Bandara also played well and made unbeaten 44 runs that helped Lanka to reach the score of 131 runs. Indies got the target of 132 runs from 120 balls to win the 3rd T20I match of WI vs SL series 2021.

Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis were sent on the crease to chase the target and Akila Dananjaya got the responsibility of the new ball. West Indies started very conveniently and had made 53 runs at the loss of 1 wicket after the mandatory Powerplay. Kieron Pollard, the captain of the team, who had hit 6 sixes in an over in the first T20 was dismissed for 0 run by Dushmantha Chameera in 7.6 overs. But the target was not so big and WI achieved it in 19 overs. SL bowlers performed well but could not stop the WI batsmen. Lakshan Sandakan got the three wickets and Dushmantha Chameera, PWH de Silva took 2 wickets each for their team.

West Indies won the 3rd T20I match of the WI vs SL 2021 series by 3 wickets with 6 balls remaining and Fabian Allen was named Man of the Match.
