The cricket governing body of New Zealand has confirmed that they will welcome the Netherlands for the only T20 international match tournament in the month of March 2022. The single T20 international match of the New Zealand vs Netherlands T20I series 2022 will be held at Bay Oval, Tauranga on 25 March 2022. Pieter Seelaar is the current captain of the Netherlands cricket team in all formats and the squad will visit Kiwis land under his leadership. Currently, Kane Williamson is the captain of the New Zealand cricket squad and he may lead the T20I match against the Netherlands in March 2022.
The current ranking of the Netherlands in the ICC T20I team ranking is 18th whereas New Zealand is standing at the number 4 position. There is a huge difference between both teams but it will be captivating to watch the Dutch players against the world’s top team in the shortest format of the game. New Zealand is already loaded with highly talented, skilled enough, and experienced players who can turn the match anytime.
