Rain spoils the last ODI between South Africa and New Zealand - The 3rd and the final ODI was a mere formality as the visitors had already emerged as winners winning both the first matches in the series. The last match was fight for some respect for the home side. This match was played at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

After winning the toss the home side decided to field first. This time around it was Quinton de Kock who emerged to be the top scorer as he scored 80 runs in and remained not out. Hashim Amla failed to score much as he lost his wicket after scoring 12 runs. The team managed to reach the score of 157 runs in 31 overs before the rain interrupted the match. The rain stopped the game to resume and hence he match ended with no result. Hence the visitors ended winning the series 2-0.
