They have done this job while playing against Pakistan where they added 133 runs on the scoreboard in which de Villiers contributed 25 and Duminy added 48 runs but African bowlers tried hard but could not save the match and were defeated by 2 wickets.

In the 2nd semi-final competition of the T20 World Cup 2014, India and South Africa were standing against each other and Africa got the chance to bat first.
