He achieved this feat in the 2nd ODI against Australia at Jaipur when Australia came to India in 2013. He made his fastest 100 runs in ODI while chasing the huge target of 360 runs against Australia.

2. Virender Sehwag

Virendra Sehwag, the former Indian player is listed at the 2nd place for hitting the fastest hundred for India in the One Day International. He performed this incredible effort from just 60 balls while playing against New Zealand. He added a total 125 runs from 74 balls and remained not out in that match. 

3. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is at the number 3 position in the list for making the fastest 100 in One Day International for India. This incredible performance of Virat Kohli came from just 61 balls while playing against Australia at Nagpur in 2013. He total contributed an undefeated 115 runs that helped India to win the match by 6 wickets. 

4. Mohammad Azharuddin

The Indian classical batter and former captain, Mohammad Azharuddin holds the number 4th position for making the fastest century in ODI for India. He achieved this feat while performing against England in the 4th ODI at Baroda in 2008.  

5. Yuvraj Singh

The former Indian all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh is sitting at the number 5th place for making the fastest century in ODI for India. He achieved this feat from just 64 balls while playing against England at Rajkot in 2008. He added a total unbeaten 138 runs for which he was named Man of the Match in that match.
