He accomplished this record from just 36 balls while performing against West Indies at Queenstown in 2014. He made unbeaten 131 runs from just 47 balls which helped them to achieve a winning total.

 

2. Jesse Ryder

Jesse Ryder holds 2nd place in the list of the fastest century in ODI for New Zealand. This former New Zealand player achieved this milestone from 46 balls against West Indies at Queenstown in 2014. He contributed 104 runs from just 51 balls by hitting 5 Sixes and 12 boundaries in that match.

 

3. Michael Bracewell

Michael Bracewell is listed in the 3rd position for making the quickest 100 in ODI for New Zealand. He made the fastest 100 runs of his career from just 57 balls while playing against India at Hyderabad (Deccan) in 2023. In that match, Bracewell made a great effort by contributing 140 runs from 78 balls while chasing the target of 350 runs. 

 

4. Craig McMillan

Crag McMillan finds himself in the number 4th position in the list of the fastest century in ODI for New Zealand. He made this effort from just 67 balls while playing against Australia at Hamilton in 2007. He played really well while chasing the target of 347 runs in that match which helped them to achieve the target and won the match. 

 

5. Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson is sitting at the number 5th place for making the fastest 100  runs in One Day International for NZ. He achieved this feat from 69 balls while contesting against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo in 2011. Unfortunately, New Zealand could not win that match and his unbeaten innings of 100 runs was wasted.
