Titans emerge victorious in a low scoring match - The 6th match of the Brisbane Heat fought against the Titans. It was a battle between the team from Australia and South Africa. This match was played in the PCA stadium situated in Mohali. After winning the toss the Brisbane Heat decided to field first. The Titans in the 1st innings lost the 1st wicket in the 2nd over as Jacques Rudolph lost his wicket. Henry Davids and Heion Kuhn together stitched the innings together and provided a great platform to the middle and the lower order batsman. They together took the team to a score of 70 when Kuhn after scoring 31 runs lost his wicket. This wicket opened up the gates for the Brisbane Heats as the team marched in and took many wickets. AB de Villiers scored 28 runs but later was run out. The wickets fell back to back while the 19th over saw the fall of 3 wickets. The Titans after a solid start lost its entire wicket in a score of 123 runs. Matthew Gale took 4 wickets in just 2.5 overs thus taking his team to a great position.

The Brisbane heats required only 124 runs to win the match. It was a simple task as the team required to bat well. The Titans managed to be in the competition as they took 3 quick wickets to keep the upper hand in the match. James Hopes and Daniel Christian tried to reconstruct the innings for the heats. Christian after scoring 21 runs lost his wicket in the 14th over. Hopes followed him in the 17th over leaving his team to a score of 84/5. This wicket opened the gates for titans and they successfully managed to stop the Heats as the team was bowled out at a score of 119 thus winning the match by 4 runs. Marchant de Lange was named as the man of the match for his outstanding 3 wickets. With this titans earned the important 4 points in the tournament.
