Newlands Cricket Ground is cricket stadium located in Cape Town, South Africa. The stadium is considered to be one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in world cricket, the stadium is not only the venue for cricket but has also been the venue for football and rugby. The ground was established in the year 1889 and first international cricket match was played on this ground on March 25, 1889 between South Africa and England. The stadium consists of the sitting capacity of at least 25,000 spectators. The stadium has got two ends namely Wynberg End and Kelvin Grove End and possesses Cape Cobras and South Africa Cricket team as its tenants.
