The third match of the South Africa versus England Test series 2019-2020 again had England triumphing in the game by winning by an innings and 53 runs. The match started on January 16 and concluded on January 20, 2020. It was hosted at St. George’s Park, Port Elizabeth. This time too the English team won the toss and elected to bat. They scored 499 runs in 152 overs. South Africa scored 209 runs and 237 runs in first and second innings respectively. This match is certainly a historic one for the English team as it marked England’s 500th test match overseas and was made more special by the win.
