Tallawahs win the low scoring game in the last ball - The Jamaica Tallawahs hosted Guyana Amazon Warriors in a T20 match of the Caribbean Premiere League. It was the 18th match of the tournament and with the match the tournament entered its final stages. The home side after winning the toss decided to field first. Martin Guptill yet again failed to produce an innings he is known for. The Warriors lost 2 wickets in the first 6 overs. Lendl Simmons the other opener scored 34 runs while he got support from the middle order batsman Jimmy Neesham. These two batsmen controlled the innings together. The wickets for the warriors kept falling regularly. In the 13th over 5 wickets fell for the warriors and thus they were well under pressure. Neesham played an innings of 35 runs in 26 balls and Christopher Barnwell scored 23 runs to take their team to a score of 137 at the end of 20th over. Jerome Taylor was the performer with the bowl for the Tallawahs as he took 3 wickets in 4 overs giving away only 14 runs.

The Tallawahs started their innings slowly. Both the openers left the crease in the 8th over of the innings when the score was only 39. Soon 2 overs later another wicket fell for the Tallawahs and the team was in deep trouble. Owasis Shah and Andre Russell were the man who came as a savior for the team. Russell played a knock of 58 runs in just 24 balls thus helping the team to win the match in the last ball of the game. The Tallawahs managed to win the vital 2 points in the last ball. Mohammad Hafeez was the best bowler for the team who took 2 wickets giving away only 13 runs. Russell was named as the man of the match for this game.
