We all know the fact that Pakistan has already been crowned the World T20 Champions once when they won the trophy in the second edition of the World Cup T20. Thus ruling them out from the upcoming T20 series in South Africa against the home team will be a foolish thing to do by any one. The first match of the 2 match T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played on 20th November at The Wanderers. Both the teams have not played a lot of T20 against each other but there will be high expectations from the crickets lovers.

Many people would like to say that just because of the fact that the Pakistan players have been playing a lot of cricket on their home turfs where the pitch supports their style of playing but let us just get assure that this team of Pakistan is young and has the hunger to win. This on the other hand does not really prove that Pakistan is the hot favorites for the match as well as the series. No one must count out the Proteas. Although the Proteas have had some real poor results when taking on big games but they do have the fire power to overcome any opposition in the world.

The South African team will be having the upper hand in the first game simply because of the fact that this is their territory and they will have the privilege of having Hashim Amla and Dale Steyn back in their sides for the game. Though this tilts the first T20 into a 60 – 40 affair but with the young brigade of Pakistan, they can simply over turn all the calculations with some simple and belligerent power hitting. We should also not forget the fact that till date, it is Pakistan who is ahead in terms of wins against each other and their last win was in Centurion. The game is expected to have all the chills and thrills of a roller coaster ride and might very well decide the course of the whole tour.
