The Auckland Aces vs. Northern Knights HRV T20 match will take place on January 8th, 2014. The match will be held at Eden Park Outer Oval in Auckland, New Zealand. The Eden Park is also the home ground of the Auckland Aces. It is a very huge stadium and it can easily accommodate 50,000 people. The Auckland Ace Supporters are definitely going to be present for this match. The match will start at 4:00 pm in the evening. If you are into New Zealand Domestic Cricket Championships then you are going to want to watch this match.

The Auckland Aces are a good team as they have won the HRV Cup three times in 2011 to 2012, 2010 to 2011 and 2006 to 2007. The Northern Knights haven’t won the HRV Cup before but they have played well in the HRV Series. This might just be the lucky year for the Northern Knights. HRV aside, The Knights have won the Ford Trophy seven times and the Shell Trophy eight times. On the other hand, the Auckland Aces have won the Ford Trophy nine times and the Shell trophy twenty six times. The odds of this match are quite complicated to figure out. You never know you will go home victorious.

Gareth Hopkins is an all rounder and he is the captain of Auckland Aces. Matt Horne is the coach of the Aces and he has guided them well over the years. On the other hand, the Northern Knights are coached by Grant Bradburn. Scott Styris is the captain of the Northern Knights and he is also an all rounder. The captains of both the teams are quite capable of leading their teams towards victory.

If you follow New Zealand Domestic Cricket religiously then don’t miss this match. In fact watch the whole HRV Series. It is going to be an exciting cricket event.
