Stats for IPL 6 stands quite amazingly.
Out of 23 matches played so far, team have won 16 games on their home grounds. This clearly depicts that team has been preparing wicket as per their strength to win it which also gives clear indication that teams know where lies their strength and weakness. Captain including franchises after 5 seasons of IPL have started thinking quite strategically rather than just going out there on the filed and perform. New comers as well youngsters are getting good exposures as well and they are being groomed to make future Indian team more and more strong.
Strong and clever move by BCCI which will really help them in long run.
IN IPL 6, Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only team which has not lost any of their matches in Bangalore so far. It has been their fortress so far and they boast of strong performances in their home ground.
Trio Gayle, Kohli and De Villiers have kept hold of their batting line up very strongly and bowlers are giving good support as well.

Keeping all the factors aside, I think the Home advantage is always there. Look at the last match that was played between MI and RCB. RCB being the more strata side was outperformed by the Mumbai India. And that was shows that the crowd support is quite necessarily.

But due to changing in the teams, Regional players have shifted to other tams that are not the part of their home crowd.

If you see IPL 6,most strong teams are probably RCB, MI, KKR and then hopefully CSK.
CSK is sitting on 2nd place currently after RCB with exactly 8 matches left for them still and if you see closely, CSK has won more matches outside Chennai this time and already lost a couple of home games.
I accept that home game is an advantage for players as they are aware of conditions, they know the behaviour of the pitches and they also know that a huge crowd will be present there to back them up every now and then.....
But out of the box, what really matters is that advantage goes for the team which plays the best in any conditions. And this is the reason why MS Dhoni performs anywhere, whatever the condition is. He remains unaffected by whether the crowd is cheering for him or not. He plays to his full potential and he gets the result. A player should not think about advantage but his game and his strengths, isn't it?

Yeah that is right, but home advantage is always there.

After all it is the game play of players that attracts the crowd and force them to cheer.

As far as strong teams are concerned. RR, RCB, HR and last may be CSK. Other teams are not playing that good.

As far as the Dhoni is concerned, I rate him a great leader, then a great player. After all leader is the one who can mold the talent of players. And being a good leader is a very difficult thing to do

CSK has won two IPL trophies and One Champion Trophy with 8 players who are still part of CSK squad and currently playing every matches. They are currently seated at number 2 on point table with more than 8 matches to still play.

I think you misunderstood that. I was talking about four teams that will qualify for the top four slot. Oh! I am really sorry to rank CSK on fourth number. Oh! Sorry how can i rank, Dhoni at number four slot.

And if you wantes to say that top four teams are those with CSK in that list, no body will be  as pleased as I will be no matter whatever spot is given to CSK.
Once they are there, they are unstoppable, you know that, I know that and all others know that....

yeah, CSK is all time performer, but change is good, at least every team in IPL should win trophy once.

@skyshot: It seems like you want the trophy to be handed over to each team once whether they perform or not.
As per me if it's CSK playing better cricket than any other team everytime, trophy should be with CSK everytime.
If MI or RCB cannot handle pressure during tough situations, they do not deserve to be the IPL 6 winner anytime.

Yes definitely, home advantage plays a major role for the home team in winning the game.

Home team has big crowd to support them as well as back them. They are very well aware of the fact that what's the nature of the pitch and how will it behave like. They are used to the nature of the climate as well because this tournament is generally played in hot summer days when it's pitching heat all over the place.

Home team captain can talk with the coaches and curators and get necessary and planned pitches done and pick up their squad accordingly.

So, my opinion is that there is a great home advantage for the players playing at their home ground.

Rightly said, but now things are not the same as they sued to be. Many regional players are playing for other teams. For example Dhoni, he is playing with Chennai. Yuvraj is playing with Pune. 

Big names are getting distributed to different part.

Thanks for your suggestion. But why it looks like that both you and contact diwan are same person. Just doubt, no offence. 

As fight is considered, it happens when two die hard fans clash against each other. No intention of grudge against each, isn't Diwan.

I think that you are creating nuisance here by just bullying others and not talking about what this forum is exactly about.
