The Trinidad & Tobago wins the match with the D/L method - The 16th match of the tournament was played between the Titans and the Trinidad & Tobago. This match was played at the Sardar Patel stadium situated in Motera. After winning the toss the Titans decided to field first. The Trinidad & Tobago despite of losing the wicket of Lendl Simmons got off to a great start. Evin Lewis and Darren Bravo took their team to a flying start as the team reached a score of 113 in just 12.2 overs. Both the batsmen scored 70 and 63 respectively. Bravo lost his wicket in 17.3 overs and went away leaving his team at 164/4. This was the turning point of the match as the platform provided to the batsmen was not utilized by the middle order batsmen and thus the team was able to score only 188 runs in 20 overs. If the middle order contributed well it would have meant a huge score for the Tobago. Marchant de Lange took 3 wickets in the match.

The Titans too got off to a good start.  The opening pair of Henry Davids and Jacques Rudolph took the team to a score of 65 in just 6.4 overs. Davids after scoring 42 runs lost his wickets. The Titans lost 3 more quick wickets and stood at 88/4 in 11th over. the Titans tried to score some good and easy runs but were incapable of doing it as the bowlers made it difficult for them AB de Villiers and Farhaan Behardien fought hard to take their team to the winning score but it was difficult in front of the Trinidad & Tobago bowlers. The team ended its innings at 153 losing 6 wickets in the innings. The innings was shortened as the rain came in to disrupt the match and hence the Titans lost the match by 7 runs. Evin Lewis won the man of the match award and the Trinidad & Tobago managed to earn the important 4 points.
