Dwayne Bravo’s All-round show takes the team to their 2nd win - After a dismal start to the Caribbean Premiere League the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel hosted the Antigua Hawksbills in the 14th match of the tournament. The home side after winning the toss selected to bat first. The home team didn’t had a good start as the previous match hero Kevin O’Brien lost his wicket in the 2nd over of the match. Ross Taylor and Adrian Barath stitched together a 50 run partnership before the kiwi got out scoring 25 runs. Later Darren Bravo joined Barath but soon Barath lost his wicket due to a run out. He scored 38 runs in his innings. Dwayne Bravo and Darren Bravo worked out together in the end part of the innings to take their team to a score of 169 runs. Dwayne Bravo scored 46 runs in just 25 balls while Darren scored 38 runs. Kemar Roach was the pick of the bowler as he took 2 wickets by giving away 27 runs in 4 overs.

The Antigua Hawksbills started their innings and the rain interrupted the play in the very first over of the game. Due to the rain interruption the game was reduced to 15 overs and the target was revised to 134 runs. At the start of the 4th over the visitors lost the wicket of Kieran Powell. Rahkeem Cornwall too didn’t last long and lost his wicket in the 6th over of the innings. Johnson Charles and Ben Rohrer stitched together a partnership and took their team to a total of 63 runs. Charles got out after scoring 46 runs in 28 balls. the middle order then in search of some quick runs lost wickets constantly and the team was able to make only 132 runs in 15 overs. Thus Hawksbills lost the game by 1 run. Dwayne Bravo was the pick of the bowler taking 2 wickets giving away only 14 runs. for his all-round performance he was awarded the man of the match award. With this win the Red Steels won the 2nd game of the tournament.
