The third T20 match was played at the Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles on 14th November. It was a day and night encounter attracting large number of crowd. Blasters again won the toss and decided to bat first. Probably the decision was influenced by the last loss however Warriors still got the better of them and won the match by 4 wickets, thereby sweeping the series 3-0. SACHIN TENDULKAR was at his vintage best as he bludgeoned 56 runs of 27 balls. The knock was complemented with a string of fours and sizes hoisted high up in the stands.

Sultan of Multan, SEHWAG too joined the party with a swash buckling inning of 27 runs of 15 balls. With the contribution of JAYWARDENA and GANGULY, blasters managed to notch up a formidable score of 219 runs of 20 over. For the first time, middle order came into its own however the batsmen were castled by the spin bowling of VETTORI as he was able to chip away 3 wickets for the cost of 33 runs. Rests of the bowlers including WARNE were on for a leather hunt.

Warriors had a disastrous start as Vaughan as back into the hut for no score while HAYDEN was run out by LAXMAN at the score of 12. Wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals and at 5/129, the warriors were staring down the barrel of defeat however Ponting had other ideas as he along with kallis stitched together a partnership of 88 runs to pull his team back on the path of Victory. KALLIS pulverized the attack to all corners of the park and scored 47 runs of 23 balls. Punter too made 43 runs of 25 balls and was unbeatable at the end of the run chase. Warne’s team chased the target in the last over of the match. KALLIS was declared the player of the match for hi stupendous innings of 47 runs and amazing bowling performance with a miserly spell of 17 runs of 3 over.
