- Rahmat’s First Class debut was versus Scotland on March 12th 2013. At Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan won this match by 5 runs with an innings remaining. Rahmat performed his best and added 67 runs to the score.
- Rahmat’s ODI career kick started at Sharjah on the 6th of March 2013. In this match against Scotland, Rahmat bowled 3 overs and gave away just 20 runs, while he scored odd 3 runs off 16 deliveries. Afghanistan though won the match by 7 wickets with another 97 balls at hand.
