For the past some months, due to the pandemic of Coronavirus, all the events in the field of games and sports were halted. To gain momentum, each game authorities think of various options. In the world of Cricket, BC Cricket Championship is a premier T20 cricket league which will be held in Canada with an objective to bring Cricket back after this break. The inaugural season of BC Cricket championship will commence on the 7th of August in Canada. Five teams will take part in the competition. The BC Championship is a very suitable platform for youngsters to present their talent to the world.
The format of the tournament is single round-robin wherein each team will play against all the other teams, and the top four teams will qualify for Knockout finals. Hence there will be an opportunity for each team in the league round and enter the next round. The BC Championship matches will be organized in Canada during their summer season. The tournament will be from 7th August to 13th August. The final of the inaugural season of the tournament will be on 13th August.
The five teams which participate in the league are BC Champions, Surrey Shines, Victoria Waves, Vancouver Vibes, and Kings 11 Kelowna. Each team has a franchise provided with a set of rules for team combination, which can help them win the championship.
It will be an excellent opportunity for all the domestic stars to perform for their team and lift the trophy of the championship on its maiden season. The winner will get a grand prize of 25,000 Canadian Dollars. The tournament will be live telecasted, so all the cricket fans all around the world will be able to watch the game and their Canadian heroes competing against each other. Each day will have two matches, one will be played in the morning, and the other will be in the evening. All the matches will be held on the same ground, Meadowbrook Park, Canada.

Surrey Shines also has good talented cricketers. They are also the favorites of the tournament as per the experts after going through their sports statistics. The 5th team Vancouver Vibes also got Kulojit Randhava, Prabhjot Singh, and Baltej Singh on their side as match-winning players. The tournament will represent Cricket in Canada and increase the craze as well as the level of Cricket and interest for the game amongst Canadian youth.
