1. Mohammad Ashraful

Mohammad Ashraful holds the record of creating the fastest 50 in ODI for Bangladesh. He achieved this feat in 21 balls while playing against England in the 4th match of the Natwest Series 2005 in Nottingham. England batted first and put a huge target of 392 runs in front of Bangladeshi batters. In reply, did not start well and lost wickets at regular intervals. Only, Mohammad Ashraful performed well and contributed 94 runs including the 1st fastest 50 in ODI for Bangladesh. 

2. Abdul Razzaq

Abdul Razzaq is placed in the 2nd position for making the fastest 50 in ODI for Bangladesh. He made this excellent effort while performing against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Bangladesh and Zimbabwe met each other for the 2nd ODI when Bangladesh visited Zimbabwe in 2013. Bangladesh got the chance to bat first and set the target of 253 runs for Zimbabwe. In the starting, Bangladesh struggled a lot in batting but Abdur Razzak in the number 9th position struck some big hits and added the fastest 50 in 21 balls that helped them to reach 252. But Bangladesh could not defend the total and lost the match by 6 wickets.

3. Mosaddek Hossain

Mosaddek Hossain holds the number 3 position for making the fastest 50 in One Day International for Bangladesh. In the final competition of the Ireland Tri-Nation Series against West Indies, Bangladeshi batter Hossain made this excellent effort in just 23 balls. Bangladesh got the target of 210 runs in 24 overs which was achieved by them very comfortably in 22.5 overs only. This excellent performance of Bangladeshi batters includes the name of Mosaddek Hossain who came at number 6 and made unbeaten 52 runs in 27 balls which included the 3rd fastest 50 in ODI for his team.
