Maximum Sixes in Champions Trophy - Batsman with Most 6

Following is the list of top 5 players with most sixes in Champions trophy overall.
Chris Gayle may break the record and can make new records this year in Champions Trophy. So, stay tuned for more updates.
  1. Sourav Ganguly 17 sixes in 13 Matches
  2. Chris Gayle 13 sixes in 14 matches
  3. Shane Watson 12 sixes in 14 matches
  4. Paul Collingwood 11 sixes in 11 matches
  5. Shahid Afridi 10 sixes in 13 matches
Out of five batsmen mentioned on the top, only 2 will be participating in this IPL and Chris Gayle has a wonderful opportunity to take this record to a next level.
With the kind of form he is in, I wonder if he gets going till 50 overs of a match what will be total score and what will be the number of sixes that he would have hit by the end of those 50 overs.
He is a complete destroyer of cricket ball and it will be amazing to watch him bat.
On the other hand, Shane Watson cannot be ignored as well. He too bat on top of the order for the Australian Team and is a devastating batsmen as well. It will be fun to watch him bat as well as he too cleanly strikes the ball for sixes and team would need him badly in the absence of Mike Hussey.
It will be an entertaining and close competition between the two for maximum number of sixes in Champions Trophy.
My bet blindly goes for Chris Gayle, the master of long and big sixes as there is another Gayle Storm expected in England (where champions trophy will be played this year) as per Weather forecast.

As most of the players who are in this list are now retired, only two names are still playing. I still can't forget the way ganguly used to play. The way he used to hit the sixes was an amazing experience to come alive. I think this time we will see chris gayle to do that part.

Shane Watson is another player and a good all rounder too. We are also expecting something good from them.  Let's see what happens
