Graeme Smith out of Champions Trophy

Graeme Smith is out of champions Trophy which is starting from June 6, 2013 in England. Due to Ankle injury he can not participate in the upcoming tournament. This is a big blow for South African team.
This is really sad to read that he is not playing in this tournament. Actually he is a very good player and one of the good batsman in the South African side. 

Surely the void space created by him in the team cannot be filled. He with AB devillers plays a good innings when they come for opening.

Is it just a beginning that South Africa has started choking before the tournament actually began?
Champions Trophy has not yet begun and their best all rounder, in fact the best all rounder of the world has rested himself siting out personal or family reasons.
Then the world famous batsman and South African coach does not renew his coaching term with South Africa and give up.
Now the Leader himself is out of the tournament because of injury problem.
30% of South Africa is already choked and now the entire responsibility rests on Amla, De Villiers, Steyn and compay as to how they handle the pressure in England.
Every team is almost in their renewal phase where they are bringing in new players and nurturing them for the World Cup 2015 and this will be a solid opportunity for Faf Du Plessis to make sure he assures himself this place in South African team with a proper show with his batting skills.
Morne Morkel and Tsosobe will have to prove a lot along woth Steyn as this is the best bowling unit they have in the world. If every bowler fires to their strength, then no team stands a chance against them.
All they need is to compose themselves and of course not to choke in the end.

Now, this is called as double blow to South Africa, right on the face as well as on the chin.
Two of their best batsmen of the format and the most experienced ones are side lined, all rounder Kallis resting himself and Leader is injured.
How worse it can be from here for South Africa who has been taking the title of Chokers along with them across the world whenever it comes to championship tournaments.
Being such a strong and great team since ages, they have failed to acquire any such lavish trophies and they either choke before eliminator round or in the eliminator round.
They still have a great chance to win this as they have few great and quality players in the team.
Bowling unit is full packed with flame throwers including Dale Steyn who is currently the best fast bowler in the world. Faf Du Plessis and De Villers will have to play major role along with Hasim Amla who is experienced and much will be expected from him in this Champions Trophy.
If South Africa loses their nerves and take pressure on themselves, it will be all over for them.
They know that their coach has retired who brought them to Test ranking number 1 and they will try their best to win this as a gift to Gary Kristen.
