Second match today will be played between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians.
Both these teams desperately needs this win to make sure they have an upper hand to make it for the playoffs of IPL 6.
Mumbai Indian is currently on 4th position in the point table with 5 wins out of 8 games while Kings XI Punjab is on 6th place with 4 wins out of their 8 games. There isn't a lot of difference in their Net Run Rate as well.
If Punjab wins this one, they will have equal wins in same number of matches with that of Mumbai.
However Mumbai's confidence will be a lot higher after defeating Bangalore which was a star studded team but Punjab cannot be taken lightly as well. They have the experience of Adam Gilchrist who once was a killer batsmen for Australian team. He hasn't fired at all in this tournament and you never know because today can be his day.
Players to watch out for will be Johnson, Malinga, Smith, Pollard and Rohit Sharma from Mumbai Indians side.
David Hussey, Miller, Gilchrist, Mandeep and Praveen Kumar are the players to watch for from Punjab.
Lets hope that there is a good game today and both teams play with cricketing spirit.

Mumbai Indians are at more stronger hand here, but KKR efforts cannot be underestimated. The way Bisla played in last game, shows how good they are planking ahead.

The only thing both teams want here is to make sure that, they keep their confidence strong.

News from the center is that Mumbai Indians have won the toss and chose to bat.
Adam Gilchrist has been dropped and makes way for Shaun Marsh.
So Gurkeerat Singh will keep the wickets for Punjab. David Hussey is leading the side and says that he would have wanted to bat first as well at the toss.
Mumbai Indian team remains unchanged.
Will Pragyan Ojha get a chance to bowl today is the real question by most of the fans here?

At the end of 4 overs, score of Mumbai Indians are 16 for the loss of 1 wicket.
Sachin Tendulkar is yet bowled again in this tournament by Praveen Kumar and he has failed again.

Mumbai Indians have posted a massive total of 174 runs against Punjab and in order to win this game, Punjab will need to fire seriously in order to chase this 175 down.
Thanks to Rohit Sharma brilliant knock of 79 runs in just 39 balls which included 6 massive sixes and 6 boundaries as well.
K Pollard could not do much today and just hit 20 runs in 21 balls.
Mumbai Indians pulled off the game in the last five over scoring 72 runs and Rohit Sharma scored 27 runs in the last over of the inning.
Pick of the bowler was Awana and Praveen Kumar.
Praveen Kumar gave just 24 runs in his 4 overs and took a wicket as well.
Awana bowled his quota of 4 overs and gave away just 16 runs but was unfortunate with the number of wickets.
Piyush Chawla, David Hussey and Manpreet GOny went for plenty.
It looks like a good total on this wicket and Mumbai should really defend it with their mighty bowlers.

Oh God, what a game it was by Kings XI Punjab.
Chasing such a big total with Adam Gilchrist not playing was never easy.
Punjab kept losing wickets at regular intervals but they never gave up.
Batsmen came in and contributed and went back.
All rounders came in and contributed and went back.
Amazing was that bowlers came in as well and contributed with the bat.
But in real who played a major role in deciding the result of this game was Asad Rauf whose less presence of mind in the field denied Punjab of a valuable no ball in the last over of the match and Punjab lost the game by 4 runs.
This blunder was highly criticized by everybody and one should really feel sorry for Punjab. This game was very important for them and a win over Mumbai would have boosted their morale as well.
Hussey scored 34 runs in just 18 balls which included 5 boundaries and 1 six.
Miller again was the center of the show for his brilliant half century who scored 54 runs in just 34 balls which included 5 sixes and 1 boundary.
Praveen Kumar played a little cameo in the end where the game ended dramatically and he scored 24 runs in just 15 balls including 1 boundary and 2 sixes.
Rohit Sharma was awarded the Man of the Match award for his brilliant knock in the first inning.
