First Indian Premier League i.e. DLF IPL T20 was started on April 18, 2008 and Final Match of 1st IPL T20 was played on June 1, 2008 between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Total 8 IPL teams participated in the first edition of Indian Premier League Twenty20.
