Royal Challengers Bangalore Women Cricket Team

Under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana, Royal Challengers Bangalore will enter the WPL tournament in 2023. Owned by the British alcohol beverage firm, Diageo, the club has appointed Ben Sawyer as a head coach for the RCB. Smriti Mandhana was designated the skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore's female team for the first Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023.  The most expensive player in the WPL sale, the Indian batter Smriti Mandhana, was purchased in the current bidding process in Mumbai for INR 3.40 crore. Smriti, an opening batsman, has scored 2661 runs from 113 WT20Is, with an average of 27.15 and a 123.19 strike rate.
