Bangladesh emerges victorious in the one-off T20 against Pakistan - The ODI series was one of the most successful mark in Bangladesh cricketing history. This was the most successful series for the team. After the ODI series both the teams met for the Only T20 International match of the tour. This was the only match and Bangladesh was undoubtedly the favorites in the match once again. Pakistan in the match after winning the toss decided to bat first.

Pakistan openers Mukhtar Ahmed and Ahmed Shehzad gave the team a start of 50 runs. The first 50 runs came at a slow pace as it was scored in 9 overs. Shehzad lost his wicket after scoring 17 runs giving the home team their 1st breakthrough. Shahid Afridi the well renowned batsmen failed in the match too as he lost his wicket after scoring only 12 runs. Bangladesh took their 3rd success in the 13th over restricting them at a score of 77/3. Haris Sohail and Mohammad Hafeez then had a good partnership among them as they took their team to 126 runs but Hafeez lost his wicket in the 18th over after scoring 26 runs. Sohail remained not out scoring 30 runs as Pakistan posted a score of 141 runs. Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets for the team.

The Bangladesh side had a small target to chase but it needed a good partnership to accomplish. The openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar failed to give the team a good start as Sarkar lost his wicket on a duck. Iqbal too followed soon in the 3rd over after scoring 14 runs. It seemed that the Pakistan team finally found the way to beat Bangladesh but Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al Hassan once again proved to be a difficulty for Pakistan. These two batsmen scored 51 and 57 runs respectively as they took their team home in the 17th over. It was 7 wickets win for the team. Sabbir Rahman was named as the man of the match.
