Luke Mafuwa Jongwe is one of the members of the young brigade. He was born on February 6th in the year 1995. He took birth in the city of Harare. This young player is a part of the squad as an all-rounder. This talented youngster is a right handed batsmen and a right arm medium pacer.

He played his first match in the List A cricket of Zimbabwe on December 7th 2013. He played his first match for the Southern Rocks. This youngster impressed everyone and then made his first class debut in the same year playing for the same team. before getting into the national squad he was part of the Zimbabwe U-17s and Zimbabwe U-19s and Zimbabwe A. this young talented player had a good amount of scope for the future and thus his talent was recognized and the board of cricket of Zimbabwe called him for the national side.

He made his ODI debut for the National side against the mighty South Africans. He played all the three ODI matches in the South Africa’s tour off Zimbabwe for the year 2014. He in his debut series failed to take a single wicket and thus the player ended up in losing his position for the tri series in the starting XI. This player has got the talent and is still young and surely will be making some good name in the future in this game.
