Timycen Maruma is yet another young breed of the Zimbabwe cricket team. He was born on April 19, 1988. This young player made the test debut in the year 2013 against Bangladesh. This young player is again the product of the Harare’s Churchill High school and Takashinga Club. This young player had performed the best in his first class carrier and in the year 2012-13 his average was a smashing 51.80 and thus this led the call up of the national team. The test against the Bangladesh was his first and the only test that he played ever. In the year 2007 he made his ODI debut against the South African side. He is a Right handed batsmen and is known for bowling some great leg spins.

He was one of the best bowlers in the First class cricket of Zimbabwe in domestic cricket. he was also the highest wicket taker in the first class cricket. But as he got his call up for the national side he had to focus on his batting. He has gone up the ranks as batsmen and opened for his national side. slowly he forgot his bowling talent and now he is just a batsmen.
