The club has also won the Division 2 title once in the year 2006. The club has also been successful in the limited over matches as they have won 3 Pro40 tournaments, four times they have won the 50-over tournament and once they emerged victorious in Twenty 20 tournament. The club was established way back in 1845 and it played its first game in the year 1846. The club plays its most of the matches in the famous cricket ground Oval situated in the Kennington area. The club has an old rivalry too with Middlesex in which the club has the upper hand.
