Tino Best born in 1981 is a West Indian player. He basically belongs to the bowling department of his side. Tino plays first class game for Barbados. He holds a record of highest runs scored by any player at number 11 in Test format when he played a knock of 95 against England in 2012. Tino made his first class debut in 2002 against Guyana when he represented Barbados and managed to send 4 batsmen back to the pavilion after conceding 50 runs. In his debut season, he took 17 wickets in 5 games at an average of 25 including one 5-wicket haul. In 2011-12, he performed well in domestic cricket and his this performance led him to be included in West Indies ODI squad to play against Australia but unfortunately he couldn’t play. Tino made his Test debut in 2003 against Australia but he performed very poor and couldn’t take any wicket after bowling 20 overs. He has played 20 games and has taken nearly 50 wickets at an average of 38 which also includes two 5 wicket hauls. His best figure in bowing is 6 for 40. In batting department, he has scored 330 runs with an average of 15. His best score is of 95 that he scored against England in 2012. Tino had a taste of his first international wicket in 2004 against England when he sent Graham Thorpe back to the pavilion. In ODI format, he played his first game in 2004 against Bangladesh. He has given his contribution in 21 games with 26 dismissals with an average of 35. In ODI format, he has not taken 5 wickets in an innings. When it comes to his batting, he has added just 68 runs in his score card at an average of 8.5.
