Kandurata Warriors is a team who played in SLPL 2012, the first season of Sri Lanka Premier Leauge but due to some reason this year's SLPL 2013 was cancelled. As we know winner of SLPL 2013 was about to participate in Champions League T20 2013 and so to fill this void Sri Lanka cricket board arranged a quick Sri Lanka Super 4 T20 2013 Tournament in place of SLPL 2013 as a replacement. So, Kandurata Maroons is from Sri Lank super 4 Twenty20 Tournament.
