Kandurata Warriors is a first class domestic cricket team of Sri Lankan Cricket which has been especially for twenty20 cricket format, especially for Sri Lanka Premier League. The team represents central province in the League and is owned by Number One Sports Consulting Private limited. The team is formed in the year 2012 along with the announcement of commencement the tournament. The team consists of the Pallekele Stadium as their home ground and is based in the Candy city of Sri Lanka. The current captain of Kundarata Warriors is Kumar Sangakkara who is also the member of Sri Lankan international cricket squad.
