Sreesanth, Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandila Arrested for IPL spot Fixing

These types of events have always haunted the cricket in the past too. In the year 2000 match fixing was reported between some player of south Africa and some players of Indian side. That time Indian side was completely devasted by that heinous act and it really affected the performance of the Indian team. Thos were very difficult days for the Indian side and it totally ruined the trust people have for the Indian side.

Lot of great players was caught in that fixing. Now again after 10 years, another fixing scandal haunts that Indian cricket. But this time damage will be more because, of the strict law. Now since government is also planning to make a separate law for the fixing, to get away with the fixing is not an easy task.

But players should understand their moral responsibilities that they should not betray their fans and more importantly their own nation. Fans have a high degree connection with these teams and players and if they are caught doing this type of act, surely posses a great threat to the unity of people with teams.

Let’s see what type of punishment will be given to these players. But one thing is sure, if they are culprit then they should deserve worse, because trust is what that is lost.
