How Pepsi IPL Atom MVP Player's Award is Calculated

Pepsi in this Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2013 have introduced a new contest i.e. Pepsi Atom MVP (Most valuable player) which will be calculated on players contribution in Batting, Bowling and Fielding. 

Following is the Points distribution system for IPL 2013 Atom MVP contest.
  1. 2.5 points for each four
  2. 3.5 points for each six
  3. 3.5 points for each wicket taken
  4. 1 point for each dot ball bowled
  5. 2.5 points for each catch or stumping taken

This MVP Player's Award is clearly a benefit for all rounder and neither a batsmen nor a bowler alone.
This is one of the significant factor as to why Shane Watson leads this chart easily.
Also, it is the wicket keeper also who will be benefited in this case as most of the catches captured as caught behind against fast bowlers and stumpings chances are created with spin bowlers.
Keepers will keep earning points for catches, stumpings and runs they score.
Batsmen and bowlers loses this opportunity and hence is deprived of a chance until he is a power hitter like Chris Gayle alone or like David Miller.
